John Achkar is a Lebanese stand-up comedian and entrepreneur who has recently garnered significant attention in the UAE and Lebanon through his content on TikTok and Instagram. His comedy addresses issues involving religion, race, and marriage. John starred in Stand-Up Baladi (2020), the first Lebanese stand-up comedy series in Arabic. He is renowned for his stand-up comedy specials, including "No Worries" (2020) and his latest release, "Wen 3ayish?" (2022). In October 2023, he launched his highly anticipated new special, “Chou Zake!?” promising fresh insights and laughter for his audience.

Having toured Europe and the GCC, "Wen 3ayish?" delves into discussions about John's family, upbringing, religious and cultural background, his short-lived marriage, divorce, and his new, somewhat opposing perspective after moving to Dubai.
