#BeTheDrive is a fundraising campaign by Dakar Lebanon Team in support of Anta Akhi. All proceeds from the campaign will go to Anta Akhi as Dakar Lebanon team is covering the total cost of the participation in the Rally. Donations are accepted online: on dakarlebanon.com or ihjoz.com and offline at: Libanpost, Cash United, Khoury Home, Malik’s and Grand Cinemas.

Jad Comair and Antoine Iskandar, are two Lebanese living and working between Lebanon and Paris, Their strong love for their homeland drove them to become the first ever Lebanese team to participate in the 40th edition of Dakar rally, the hardest in the world, held in Latin America in early January 2018.

Their main goal is to portray their country’s positive image by promoting its rich tourism and bringing Lebanese expats one step closer to home.

In addition to the patriotic drive behind this initiative, their participation has taken on a humanitarian dimension: Under the slogan #BeTheDrive, a fundraising campaign was launched with the aim of raising funds as well as awareness around physical and mental disability, a cause that is very dear to their hearts. A series of activations are happening on different levels to support the main cause.

All proceeds collected from this fundraising campaign will directly go to Anta Akhi, an association taking care of individuals with special needs.
