Deeds team have been noticing some community organized campaigns to help the Syrian refugees present in Lebanon to make it through the coming winter and we'd love to help! Wood for the 'Hood will just do so by taking your donation, straight ahead to camps in the form of wooden pallets!! You will get to purchase as many wooden planks as you can online and we will send these to camps through local NGOs and let your pallet take it from there. You may think a simple wood pallet is helpless facing the harsh winter, but give it another thought and you will see a whole different potential for it. Wood pallets can be used to elevate refugees mattresses off the ground, away from the pools of water that may flood their nights. A wood pallet can help them keep warm and strengthen their tents. Wood can go a long way in helping refugees if you give it the chance and send some for the Syrian refugees neighborhoods ASAP!

We will kick off the campaign by donating the whole wood pallets stock left from our lantern festival to Syrian refugee camps in Bekaa Valley through Sawa for Development Aid. what was once a stage foreseeing the happening of Lebanon Lantern Festival 2015 will now elevate tens of beds in brittle little tents and help keep many refugees a bit warmer during this winter.

As always, through the simple yet effective campaigns, Deeds try to emphasize on the idea that a little help can go a long way and being kind doesn't take a lot of effort.
