Come on out to the latest Unity 5 workshop! In our continuing series of Unity 5 workshops we’ll help you take your first big steps into the world of Game Development!
For those of you who lack a background or understanding in programming, fear not! We’ll be there to guide you every step of the way.
With Unity 5 being introduced in our last session of the Game Development workshops, it is now time for the passion to begin. For those of you who lack a background and/or understanding in programming, this will be your first big step towards becoming a Game Developer.
This workshop will introduce the basics of C# using MonoDevelop for Unity 5. Alongside with a few more upcoming workshops, you will be a programmer in no time.
Programming basics are simple to grasp and fun to explore, so prepare thyselves for an awesome adventure!

Programming Basics in C# for Beginners
The aim of this session is to teach the basics of programming in C# for beginners. The
session will include the following:
Introduction to the language.
Conventions and syntax.
Creating variables, functions and classes.
Conditional statements and loops.
Scope and access modifiers.
Unity main functions (Awake, Start, Update, FixedUpdate)
Assigning variables to game objects.
Testing the script’s behavior.
