This workshop aims at providing tools and techniques for people to develop their creative skills. It includes defining creativity, looking into the way the human brain functions and the mental blocks that limit creativity and how to overcome these blocks, explore different tools and techniques to boost creativity and apply them, and learning the process of creative thinking.

It is highly interactive, employing various games, videos, exercises to provoke creative thinking and stimulate the senses. The workshops begins by defining creativity and sheds light on the functions and aspects of the human brain and how it limits the creative process. It also provides ways to overcome limitations through learning how to look at things differently and redefine our problem statements.

The main focus is on De Bono’s lateral thinking techniques to generate ideas during the creative thinking process. The workshop then provides tools and techniques to boost creativity and solve problems in a unique and creative way through experiential learning, insights and feedback in a fun and unique way. Participants will thoroughly explore and use techniques such as SCAMPER, setting quota, question storming, reversals, inventive problem solving, connecting the unconnected, and looking in other worlds, among others…During the day, participants will share, discuss and get feedback on the application of each tool.
