About the talk:
"Unwanted Lullaby" based on a small excerpt from the poem "The Casualty List" by the German poet and playwright Bertolt Brecht. Written in 1941 for his collection *That’s All: Poems by Brecht*, the poem serves as a personal elegy and a sorrowful inventory of close friends who were lost or took their own lives while attempting to escape Hitler’s tyranny during World War II
The film acts as an endeavor to amplify the voices of Syrians who have been silenced and suppressed through various means.
