في «جوغينغ»، بتدخل الممثلة والكاتبة والناشطة الثقافية اللبنانية حنان حج علي بعلاقة حميمة ومعقّدة مع بيروت، مدينة بتختبرها من خلال الجسد، والذاكرة، والحركة اليومية.

كامرأة بخمسيناتها، وزوجة وأم، بتحاول تواجه الأثر الجسدي والنفسي لمدينة مضطربة، بتمارس حنان الرياضة يوميًا، وبتتنقّل بين مساحتها الخاصة وشوارع بيروت المفتوحة.

وحدها على خشبة فارغة، بتجمع أحلامها ورغباتها وخيباتها وشخصيات مختلفة من ميديا، وبتحوّل روتين بسيط من روتينات البقاء لتأمل عميق بالانتماء، والفقدان، والعنف، والرغبة، والصمود.

In Jogging – Theater in Progress, acclaimed Lebanese actress, author, and cultural activist Hanan Hajj Ali enters into an intimate and complex relationship with Beirut, a city experienced directly through the body, memory, and everyday movement.

As a fifty-something woman, wife, and mother trying to fend off the physical and psychological toll of a turbulent city, Hanan exercises daily, walking through her personal space and the open streets of Beirut. Alone on a bare stage, she weaves together personal dreams, desires, disillusions, and multiple personas of Medea, transforming a simple routine of survival into a powerful reflection on belonging, loss, violence, desire, and resilience.
