EL DHAT concert series aims to highlight this underexplored common ground. By placing improvisational practices side by side, the series reframes different genres not as separate worlds, but as parallel expressions of a shared human impulse: to create something truthful and unrepeatable.

Join us on Saturday, 28 February at Stereo Kawalis featuring:

• Ghassan Sahhab draws from Arabic folk and maqam traditions, placing melody and narrative at the core of his sound.
• Fadi Tabbal navigates ambient, electronic, and experimental terrains, working with texture, space, and subtle transformation.
• Anthony Sahyoun explores improvisation through sound, performance, and collaborative structures.
• Abed Kobeissy bridges Arabic musical heritage with contemporary and experimental approaches, often working across disciplines and forms.

تهدف سلسلة حفلات الذات إلى تسليط الضوء على هذه المساحة المشتركة غير المستكشفة بما يكفي. فمن خلال وضع ممارسات الارتجال جنبًا إلى جنب، تعيد السلسلة تقديم الأنواع الموسيقية المختلفة ليس كعوالم منفصلة، بل كتعبيرات متوازية عن دافع إنساني مشترك: خلق شيء صادق وغير قابل للتكرار.

• غسان سحاب يستوحي موسيقاه من التراث والمقامات العربية، واضعًا اللحنَ والقصةَ في قلب صوته.

• فادي طبال يتحرّك في عوالم الموسيقى الإلكترونية والتجريبية والمحيطة (Ambient)، مركّزًا على ملمس الصوت والمساحة والتغيّرات الهادئة.

• أنطوني صهيون يستكشف الارتجال من خلال الصوت والعزف الحي والعمل المشترك مع الآخرين.

• عبد قبيسي يربط بين التراث الموسيقي العربي والأساليب الحديثة والتجريبية، وغالبًا ما يدمج بين فنونٍ وأشكالٍ مختلفة.
