Guided Tour with Gaby Daher
Begin your experience with an exclusive tour led by Gaby Daher, collector at the Philippe Jaber Art Collection. Gaby will share fascinating stories behind each poster on display, giving visitors a deeper appreciation of the collection’s context and significance.

Talk Moderated by Saleh Barakat
Following the tour, Saleh Barakat, committee member of the Nuhad Es-Said Pavilion, renowned art expert, gallery owner, and curator, will moderate a stimulating discussion with our speakers:

• Marie Tomb, cultural historian of the modern Levant, will explore Lebanon’s representation through tourism, as highlighted in the exhibition’s catalogue.
  
• Nour Osseiran, exhibition curator, will delve into the themes, design, and significance of Impressions of Paradise.
• Ali Jaber, professor of film studies, will examine how pre-war Lebanese cinema envisioned Beirut as a cosmopolitan city of the future, where modernist glamour contrasts with deep social and political divides.

Conclude the evening by connecting with fellow participants over drinks and light bites in a relaxed, convivial atmosphere.
