OMOIYARI
OMOIYARI
Omoiyari is a Japanese concept and philosophy that means anticipating the needs of the other person, and to meet those needs before that person has to ask for what they need.
Indeed, omoiyari might take place even before the person himself is aware of what they need. This has a very different assumption than what is typical in some other cultures where people need to speak up to get what they need, and the burden is on the individual to ask for help.
The Omoiyari Course is a two-hour course based on a Japanese concept of living in harmony with respect and mutual understanding that will inspire us to become better active citizens and work toward a balanced and trustworthy society.
At the end of this course, participants will:
- Time: 6:15 – 8:30 pm
- Venue: Berytech Digital Park, BDD# 1294 - 1st floor, Beirut Digital District, Bechara El Khoury Street, Beirut.
- Seats: Limited to 30

About the Trainer:
Brahim Nabli is an Interior Designer and Business Manager in the field of Decorative Accessories and Table Arts. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Fine Arts in Tunis where he got his master degree in Science and Technology Arts, and a PhD in Science and Technical Arts. Brahim is an active university teacher at the Higher Institute of Fine Arts of Tunis.
He is an active JCI member in JCI Tunisia since 2002, and a JCI trainer since 2006. He participated in several national and international JCI events.
He was selected the best new member in JCI Tunisia 2002, the best Project manager in JCI Ariana 2005, and the best National Executive board’s member of JCI Tunisia in 2012.
Brahim graduated from the JCI Japan Academy - Fukuyama in 2013 and holds numerous certifications in many official and recommended courses by JCI: Personal Development and Capacity Building trainer, certified coach and consultant in Political Communication and Participation Tools for NGOs, Political Parties and Civil Society by PDC (Partners for Democratic Change International), and a certified trainer in the Fight Against Corruption by the UNDP.
Brahim Nabli is also a member of the commission of reflection and discussion for the new Tunisian constitution.
