Mission:

We organize outdoor weekly activities in different regions throughout the year, under the supervision of a team of professionals in hiking, where appropriate trails are selected for each season of the year. Aiming to highlight the natural beauty and cultural wealth of the Lebanon Mountains and to emphasize the determination of the Lebanese people to preserve their heritage, the collection expands economic opportunities in rural areas through eco-tourism.

Foundation :

The highlanders961 group was founded in June 2019 by environmental activists Youssef Sbeih and Youssef Darwish, with the aim of forming a team of adventurers, and nature lovers, to explore the hidden places in the nature of Lebanon that are inaccessible by transportation, by hiking through the trails created by the Lebanese Mountain Trail, or It is explored by the founding team of the group, the team cleans and rehabilitates it so that everyone can use it later. Organizing trips The group organizes weekly public trips that are announced on social media, and seats are booked through them.

Special trips are organized upon request, as trips are not limited to nature, but also contribute to the promotion of tourism in general in Lebanon.
