Learn to think outside the box by finding creative solutions to everyday problems.

In the past few decades, psychologists and business people alike have discovered that successful problem solvers tend to use the same type of thinking process to identify and implement the solutions to their problems. This process works for any kind of problem, large or small.

This Creative Problem Solving workshop will give you an overview of the entire creative problem solving process, as well as key problem solving tools that you can use every day. The trainer will use interactive games and activities to explore brainstorming and information gathering while also giving you tools that add creativity and innovation to the problem solving process.

Workshop Objectives:

· Understand the creative problem solving process
· Identify the importance of defining a problem correctly
· Write concrete problem statements

· Use basic brainstorming tools to generate ideas for solutions

· Understand the roles that fact and intuition play in selecting a solution

Profile of the trainer:

Rana holds a MS in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University and is PMP certified. Born in Lebanon, raised in Australia, and trained in the U.S., she worked as an independent trainer, a psychotherapist and education management at AMIDEAST.

She is currently the Senior Counselor for student services at the Lebanese American University. Rana has worked in multicultural environments and has the ability to adapt in diverse organizational structure. She has also conducted numerous workshops with a focus on Communication, Charisma, Creativity, Emotional Intelligence and other leadership characteristics. Through her experience and education, Rana has developed extensive knowledge on the complexities of human relations, and has used her skills and techniques to enhance intrapersonal engagement and interpersonal relationships, both in the work environment and beyond.
