After covering the process of sketching in our first workshop, we are ready now to hit the streets and start sketching on site.

Join us for our “sketch your city workshop” in the beautiful Sanayeh Garden in Beirut. We are aiming to show how sketchable our town is.

Meet us Monday 25 august at 4:00 PM for an outdoor movement to sketch, meet and learn.

All levels are welcome, we will be there to learn and develop our skills.

Bring your sketching book, your favorite sketching tools and your smile!

Objectives:

-Engage participants in the art and practice of onsite drawing

-One-on-one interaction between participants

-Show the educational value of location drawing

-Represent public spaces as spaces for expression and arts

-Create a an enthusiastic environment for students to learn together

-Promote sketching as a fun and personal experience

Learning goals:
1. Selecting a point of view
2. Composing the page
3. Establishing spatial depth
4. Seeing and using tonal values to create depth and capture the quality of light.
5. Applying color
