The Footprints Nature Club would like to invite you to a very very special trip this Saturday - Sunday 07-08 September 2019. The trip will take us from night, under the Moonlight, to watch the sunrise from the highest mountains in Lebanon:

Night & Sunrise Hiking to Qornet El-Sawda

Qornet El-Sawda is the summit of all the Lebanese and Middle East mountains. It is 3090 meters altitude. The walk there is not easy. In fact it is a hard walk with 23 KMs trail, 11.5 KMs up and 11.5 KMs down.

The walk will be special since we will start walking Sunday 08 September at 1:00 AM. We will move from Beirut on Saturday night 07 September at 10:15 PM. The trip will take around 7 to 8 hours to finish. Thus we will watch the sunrise at around 6:00 AM from there. We shall finish the trail on Sunday at around 11:00 AM, and head back to Beirut to reach around 2:00 PM.

It will be very very cold during the walk at night, the temperature might reach -5 degrees. Thus make sure to get very warm clothes, with warm head cover.

You should also make sure to get a torch for lighting your road with you.

The amazing views that will be waiting for us are worth this special trip...

رحلتنا لهذا الأسبوع السبت - الأحد 07-08 أيلول 2019 ستكون مميزة جداً في مكانها وتوقيتها. سنبدأ الرحلة مساء السبت 07 أيلول، لنتمتع بشروق الشمس من قمم اعلى سلسلة جبال في لبنان والشرق الأوسط:

رحلة مشي ليلاً لمشاهدة الشروق من اعلى قمم لبنان: القرنة السوداء

القرنة السوداء هي اعلى قمم لبنان والشرق الأوسط بعلو 3090 متراً عن سطح البحر. المشي لبلوغ القمة يعد صعباً لأن المسار هو حوالي 23 كلم، نصفها صعود والنصف الآخر نزول.

والرحلة مميزة بوقتها لأننا سننطلق من بيروت ليل السبت 07 أيلول الساعة 10:15 مساءاً، لنبدأ المشي حوالي الساعة 1:00 من فجر الأحد 08 أيلول. سنتمتع بالمناظر الرائعة لشروق الشمس من افضل الأمكنة على الإطلاق، اي من قمم اعلى جبال في لبنان. سينتهي المشي حوالي الساعة 11:30 من ظهر الأحد، لنصل الى بيروت حوالي الساعة الثانية بعد الظهر.

الطقس في الرحلة سيكون بارد جداً. الحرارة قد تصل إلى -5 درجات. لذا يجب احضار ملابس دافئة للمشي مع غطاء دافىء للرأس. كما يجب احضار مصباح يدوي للإنارة.

جمال المناظر لهذه المغامرة تستحق صعوبة هذه الرحلة.
