Minieh-Danniyeh District is one of six districts of North Lebanon Governorate. Admired for its magnificent landscapes and natural resources with plenty to offer. Its underground water reservoirs are known to be the largest not only in Lebanon but across the entire Middle East. 

THE PROGRAM (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY):

EVENT DETAILS:

We will start our day with a breakfast stop and then head North, pass by Tripoli and continue our way to Dannieh, Explore the Hidden Gems of the region, have Lunch in a local restaurant and if we still have time a stop at Al Hallab Sweets in our way back.

Event suitable for all ages and families. 

QASR EL AHLAM قصر الأحلام :
True to its name, Qasr el Ahlam is a real “Palace of Dreams,” built by Lebanese visionary Mohamed al Hawchar. Covered with colored stones collected from around the world, the palace took an incredible 25 years to complete. The result is a true work of art.

ZAHLAN GROTTO مغارة الزحلان :
It only takes a few steps into the Zahlan grotto for the natural beauty of the mesmerizing calcite formations that cover most of the walls and the ceiling to take effect. Set in strata of calcium and dolomites, the Zahlan cave belongs to the late Jurassic period. It is considered to be the largest in the region, measuring 200m and consisting of three parts: the current cave, a lower cave and a third cave at the bottom of the valley, where the Zahlan fountain gushes out.
The discovery of human skeletons, animal bones and tools dating back to the New Stone Age indicate that the grotto was once inhabited.

Jabal Al Arbaeen جبل الاربعين :
One of Al-Makmel mountain series, which rises 2000 meters above sea level. We will visit the famous 20 m hanging Bridge (Altitude 1600 m.) that is made of transparent glasses for paragliding and skydiving purposes. And see the beautiful landscapes of Dannieh villages. And if we are lucky the Highest Swing in the Middle East.
