The Judgment of (the) Paris (of the Middle East)
The Judgment of (the) Paris (of the Middle East)
In 1976, the famous Judgment of Paris tasting event occurred. Californian wines stood out against the French and the American wine industry changed forever. Much like our friends under the sun on the golden coast, Lebanon also stood out in the 70s and has experienced a burgeoning wine industry ever since.
This class will shed light on the similarities & differences in the wine histories and wines of California (and the USA, to an extent) and Lebanon. As the American imports emporium of Lebanon, this B for Bacchus Special Topic is a Wesley's Wholesale exclusive one-time-only event.
Tickets must be purchased individually so all attendees' dietary needs & prior wine knowledge are noted. If you are a group that wants to attend together, please email info@bforbacchus.com for availability information before booking.
WHAT TO EXPECT: The session is broken into two parts. Each part is a half-hour presentation followed by a 15-minute tasting with a 15-minute break in between each half, totaling at 2 hours. This class features a tasting of 6 wines, 3 from California and 3 from Lebanon.
Limited to 12 guests/session. No refunds for cancellations.
All empty bottles are donated to Cedar Environmental for recycling.
