Why managers don’t recognize employees and what to do about it ?
Dear JCI Beirut members and friends,
If study after study shows that recognition is fundamental to the engagement and retention of our top people and the profitability of our organizations, why do managers avoid recognizing employees?
JCI Beirut cordially invites you to its Business Forum session, titled by:
"Why managers don’t recognize employees and what to do about it! Part one of the AcknowledgmentWorks Valued Employee Series" with Mr. Christopher B. LittlefieldAcknowledgmentWorks Founder.
Session Overview:
Study after global study shows that recognition is fundamental to the engagement and retention of top talent and the profitability of our organizations, so why do mangers still avoid doing it? Through an interactive process, seminar participants will be exposed to a hidden side to recognition, learn the four common misuses of recognition that foster distrust within organizations, and explore other misconceptions around the recognition process that prevent managers from giving their employees the very thing they need. Participants will walk out of this session with two concrete, easily implementable tools, to support managers in better recognizing their employees.
