Cherry Picking & Sunset Hike

The village of Bchaaleh stands on a promontory, offering breathtaking views of the sea and the mesmerizing locality of Douma. It is home to many traditional houses and to Saint Stephan church, one of the largest in the region of Batroun. To the north-east of the village, a citadel is built on the ruins of a medieval fortress, erected itself on Phoenicians ruins destroyed by the Romans. Twelve fertile olive trees, about 6000 years old, still live in the village of Bchaaleh, at more than 1200m above sea level. It is said that they are the oldest olive trees in the world.

EVENT DETAILS:

We will arrive to the beautiful village of Bchaaleh around 4 pm to enjoy the beautiful scenery formed by the cherry orchards where all the fun will begin, each one of us will be given a bucket to pick cherries and enjoy this unique experience.

After spending an hour between the cherry trees we will take a hike and enjoy the breathtaking views.
Later we will set the Bonfire and spend a wonderful evening with a magical night around the fire Eating, drinking and chilling.

2:15 pm the bus will leave***
- Saida, Near Al Zaatari Mosque, Coastal Road @ 1:00 pm
1:15 pm the bus will leave***
Please be punctual***

- We can pick up people on our way.
- We will leave Bchaaleh at 9:30 pm.

WHAT TO WEAR & BRING:

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes suitable for hiking.
Bring with you a backpack, light jacket, cap.
Water and healthy light snacks that will boost up your energy.
ID or Passport, Insurance Card (If available).
