- 14 years of experience as a consultant structural Engineer (12 years in the United States & 2 years in the middle east).
- Extensive experience in steel structures of schools, offices, airports, hospitals, and industrial buildings. Completed projects across many states.
- Experienced in the requirements of codes needed for this course: International Building Code (IBC), ASCE7, and AISC 360.
- Licensed in three states OH, GA, & TX.
Course Summary
Comprehensive course in steel design for gravity and lateral forces based on American codes, standards, and design guides. The course will include solved examples and software modeling and design. A complete 3D ETABS model will be built throughout the course for analysis and member design. Connections will be designed using RAM Connections.
