Bread&Net 2019 will be back from 15 to 17 November at Antwork, Beirut. 

ملتقى خبز ونت يعود من 15 إلى 17 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر في بيروت، في مساحة "أنتورك"

ملتقى "خبز ونت" هو الملتقى العربيّ الأوّل من نوعه الذي يضمّ مدافعين/ات عن حقوق الإنسان وصحافيين/ات وباحثين/ات وفنانين/ات وروّاد ورائدات أعمال وغيرهم، حيث يأتون من جميع أنحاء المنطقة العربية لمضافرة الجهود من أجل تعزيز الحقوق الرقمية في المساحات المترابطة رقمياً. 

وفّرت النسخة الأولى من ملتقى "خبز ونت" شبكة متجدّدة ضمّت أصحاب المصلحة من تخصّصات متعدّدة عن طريق توفير مساحة آمنة ومفتوحة فريدة بين بلدان المنطقة، من أجل مناقشة عدد من الموضوعات المهمة.

وكان من بين هذه المواضيع الزيادة المضطردة في التشريعات المتعلّقة بالجرائم الإلكترونية في المنطقة، وعمليات ضبط المحتوى وإدارته، وأدوات رسم الخرائط المفتوحة، ومساحة لعرض الويكي النسوية بهدف بناء وعي نسوي لدى الحاضرين، كما تضمن ألعاباً تهدف إلى رفع مستوى الوعي بأهمية الخصوصية على الإنترنت.

هذه السنة نقدم لكم/ن الملتقى بشكل أوسع وأكبر:

• ينعقد الملتقى لمدة ثلاثة أيام
• ثيمتان جديدتان حول الأمن الرقمي والبدائل الرقمية المتاحة
• سيوفر الملتقى مساحة مخصصة لورش العمل ذاتية التنظيم من أجل تكثيف الجهود والتعاون بين المشاركين

سيكون الاشتراك في #خبز_ونت 2019 متاحاً على منصّة الحجوزات اللبنانية "إحجز" (Ihjoz.com)، وهي الطريقة الوحيدة لضمان اشتراككم في الملتقى.

 نشأ هذا الملتقى وتطوّر ويواصل التطوّر بفضل الدعم السخي من الرعاة وشركائنا وكلّ مساعدة مهما كان حجمها.

Bread&Net is the first Arabic-language gathering of its kind where activists, technologists, lawyers, artists, trainers, journalists, researchers, entrepreneurs and others from across the region will come together to strengthen collective efforts to advance human rights in digitally networked spaces. 

The first iteration of Bread&Net reactivated and renewed an existing, latent network of multidisciplinary stakeholders by offering an open, safe physical space, unavailable in many other MENA region countries, for participants to discuss a range of topics including the steady increase in regional cybercrime legislation, and content moderation; and to showcase privacy-oriented board games, open mapping tools, and feminist wikis to build the capacity of attendees.

This year, we're going bigger by: 

• Expanding the unconference to three days, running from Friday 15  to Sunday 17 November  
• Introducing two new themes about digital security and alternative possibilities and solutions 
• Providing space for organically self-organized sessions to allow for earnest collaboration across stakeholders.  

We have partnered with local ticketing company Ihjoz to facilitate the registration process. It is the only way to guarantee admission to the unconference.
