Mindfulness Workshop
Mindfulness Workshop
Do you sometimes find yourself being overwhelmed by emotions, or worries about work, relationships or yourself?
Would you like to live more in the present moment and let go of a distracted mind?
Then join our workshops every Thursday for 6 weeks and learn strategies to help you cope with daily stress, learn how to worry less and discover how to enjoy the moment.
Mindfulness can be explained as the psychological process of being fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing. With finding this awareness people tend to be less overwhelmed by our daily concerns.
Through practice, Mindfulness has been proven to lead to less stress, depression and anxiety. In this Mindfulness workshop we aim to provide the basic mindfulness techniques, that you can apply and practice during and after the workshop.
The workshop is divided in 6 sessions of 2 hours each and includes:
- - Meditation techniques and how to apply these in daily life
- - The (psychological) background; theoretical reflection on mindfulness
- - Mindfulness practice and reflection
- - Steps to take to release stress and find a balanced mind
- - Getting more insights in our own mind and with that more emotional control
