Dear Wild Explorers,

Join us on Sunday April 14th, we will be hiking in the largest remaining #Wetland in Lebanon. #Ammik swamp located in West Bekaa designated as a Ramsar site, an Important Bird Area and a part of the UNESCO “Man & Biosphere” of the Shouf Reserve.

EVENT DETAILS:

Our hike will start from #Tawlet_Ammik go uphill passing through an Oak Forest until we reach Ain Abed where we will see most of the valley, the scenery will take your breath away. Then we will hike through a beautiful Pine Forest see a spectacular view of the Ammik Swamp and continue downhill walking in the wetlands and observing the Bird Watching Tower, the Horse Farm and much more.

Hiking Duration: 4 hrs
Distance: 10 Km
Level: Moderate
(Families and Children can take the Easy Level - 2 hrs)

8:15 am the bus will leave***
- Saida, Near Al Zaatari Mosque, Coastal Road @ 7:00 am
7:15 am the bus will leave***
Please be punctual***

- We can pick up people on our way.
- We will have a breakfast stop.
- We will have our lunch in the nature, so please bring your meal with you.

Bring with you a backpack, light jacket, cap.
Water and healthy light snacks that will boost up your energy.
