Designing Ambigrams with Niels Bakkerus

An ambigram is a word you can read normally but also upside down. Niels will show examples of ambigrams and explain about the technique. Then participants will be required to work on their own ambigram. It's a fun and basic introduction, which really pushes designers to explore the boundaries of typography and calligraphy. Niels Bakkerus is a multi-disciplinary artist working and living in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. He graduated from St. Joost Breda in Illustration and now works as a freelance type designer, illustrator and graffiti artist.
