Introduction to Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT)
FOR ALL COACHES AND PSYCHOTHERAPISTS OUT THERE THIS IS FOR YOU!!
THIS WORKSHOP WILL HELP YOUR CLIENT OVERCOME THEIR PROBLEMS AND IMPLEMENT GRATIFYING AND REALISTIC ALTERNATIVES TO THEIR CURRENT PSYCHOLOGICAL PATTERNS BY APPLYING REBT TECHNIQUE.
This workshop will be targeting the following:
1. How clients think in situations that produce; Anxiety, Anger, Depression, Hurt, Guilt, Shame, Jealousy, and Envy...
2. How they can learn to view the negative events in their life realistically without over-exaggerating the badness.
3. How they can develop a high tolerance to life difficulties and daily challenges.
4. How to promote self-acceptance & high tolerance.
REBT can help Life Coaches by Giving them the tools to help their clients :
1. Define and become aware of their unhealthy negative emotions which are causing their daily problems.
2. Identify their unhealthy/irrational thinking patterns which are resulting in these unhealthy negative emotions and thus in their self-defeating behaviors. In other words, understand better why they behave in irrational ways which sabotage their short and long-term goals; and CHANGE these irrational thinking patterns to healthier and more constructive ones, conducive to emotional and psychological well-being.
3. Assume responsibility for their own emotional reactions.
4. Help them set SMART goals and achieve them.
5. Develop Unconditional self-acceptance.
Having said that, Life Coaches are not trained psychotherapists and as such must refer to a psychotherapist when:
