Balaa - Douma Tour and Lunch

Balaa - Douma Tour and Lunch
On Sunday June 3rd we're wandering in the heights of batroun district. We will visit baatara gorge, the natural wonder and tour the beautiful village of douma. We will explore its history, architecture, culture and food😍
We'll start our day at belouh balaa with a small hike and tour around the cave. You can have breakfast at the location and enjoy the different activities offered there, like rappel and zipline (at your own expense and risk).
We'll spend 2 hours around the cave and then head towards douma by bus.
Our first stop will be at the spot where douma looks shaped like a scorpion!( it actually is)
Then we’ll pass by the 1500 year old oak tree.
Next we arrive to the center of the village.
We'll taste some homemade juice and local produce by the amazing women of douma.
We start the old souk tour visiting the shops, old churches, museum and cinema.
Be advised, a LOT of photos will be taken at this stage😂📸
Finally our day ends with a late lunch at Jamal's. Specialty home made dishes like kebbit batata, maakroun btoum and moghrabieh.
Before we head down, we're having coffee and dessert at Souk el Tayeb's Beit Douma with a small house tour😍
