JCI Beirut Training: The Practicum to Managing Negative States with Dania Dbaibo
JCI Beirut would like to invite you to the "Practicum to Managing Negative States" workshop with Dania Dbaibo Darwish on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at 6:30 pm at Berytech Bchara Khoury.
Positive emotional states are integral to better life satisfaction in general, but we realize that happiness (and other positive emotions) are only temporary; and many times, it’s a struggle to remain in an empowered positive state. This workshop provides easy to do techniques and tools to keep participants in control of their negative emotions and easily transform these into more positive ones. It is only when we are able to regulate our emotional responses would we have a better impact on our day-to-day dealings, relationships, work, and sense of fulfillment. This workshop will be like an “emotional fitness” class that makes participants more resilient and “mentally tough”. Participants will learn how to shift from being grumpy to happy, from tensed to relaxed, and from being awkward to confident. The workshop capitalizes on learning new skills in a “fun” and “dynamic” way that makes learning new information easier and longer lasting.
About the trainer:
Dania Dbaibo Darwish is a holder of a Bachelor in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Psychology from the American University of Beirut. She is a trained Counselor, a Professional Certified Life and Career Coach (PCC level with the International Coach Federation), a Certified Master level NLP practitioner, a Certified Hypnotherapist, a Certified EMDR therapist, a Positive Psychology Certified Coach, a Certified Relationship & Couples Coach, and an experienced “soft skills” Trainer. She has a background career in Sales and Marketing of consumer goods, and as a Psychology instructor at both AUB & LAU. For many years now, she runs her own practice at STRIDES as a Coach, Counselor, Hypnotherapist, and Trainer. She has been coaching diverse and leading national and international organizations like (& not limited to): Thomson Reuters, M1 Group, MetLife Alico, Azm School, Morpho, SETS, TEDx AUB, Roche, Dent De Lait daycare, Hoops, etc...). Dania is the founding president of the Lebanese Coach Association and is the Vice President of EMDR Lebanon Association in addition to being very active in other NGOs. She’s been a regular guest speaker on LBC and other local and international TV channels tackling issues on self-development and psychology. She’s known for her dynamic, upbeat, and positive personality.
