Layal is co-founder & CEO at Moubarmij.com an e-learning platform that teaches programming via Arabic video tutorials. Layal also works, advises and mentors many local and international startups and is active in the entrepreneurship scene in Lebanon. She is also the community leader for Techstars programs from Startup Weekend Beirut and Startup Digest Beirut, a volunteer based global initiative that is aimed at startup creation and entrepreneur education. She also serves on the Executive Board of the Internet Society (ISOC) Lebanon Chapter as Head of the Fundraising Committee.

She is a natural leader with the ability to motivate both individuals and teams, and has extensive experience of handling people with considerable empathy. She has developed a profound ability to turn objectives into sales and marketing driven activities to achieve results.

She is passionate about innovations and sustainable project that can make a difference to the world and enable other people to better quality of life with better solutions. She strongly supports entrepreneurship and women in business.
