About the artist

Ralph Haiby is a young Lebanese pianist who has been playing the piano for 16+ years. He has been writing his own compositions since 2010 and his style fusions classical, jazz, and modern sounds. 

His background covers quite a few genres; After studying classical music at the National Conservatory for more than a decade, Ralph founded “The Coolcumbers” alternative rock band in 2010 who released their debut album “Time & Youth” in 2013.

In November 2015, Ralph decided to share his compositions for the first time with his first solo concert “The Journey of the Soul” in a sold-out show at Theatre Gemmayze in Beirut. Since then, Ralph has performed several concerts across Lebanon in Beirut, North of Lebanon, and Baalbeck. 

His style is modern classical, essentially inspired by Ludovico Einaudi, Olafur Arnalds, & Yann Tiersen. His compositions describe personal experiences and are all about story telling and interacting with the audience.

About the concert

After playing 4 intimate concerts in Beirut, North of Lebanon, and Baalbek from May to September 2017, Ralph will share his experience and new compositions in front of a bigger crowd at Theatre Beryte to end the year.
