A Ciné-Performance of The Artist
The Artist is the multiple Oscar-winning film that enthralled audiences worldwide in 2011 as a black-and-white silent feature.
The film is screened with a live performance based on an adapted screenplay by Jowe Harfouche, Michelle Keserwany, and Edwin Nasr and performed live by:
This ciné-performance reimagines the plot of The Artist, directed by Michel Hazanavicius as "a love letter to cinema," and invites you to re-discover the film in a unique setting.

All proceeds benefit the activities of NAAS, the network supporting more than a dozen alternative cinemas in the region.

NAAS is a network of non-governmental cinema spaces, in the Arabic-speaking region. It currently counts 21 members : cinemas, cine-clubs, cultural centers, distributors, and initiatives that attempt through their programming, events, space, outreach, and operation to support a vibrant and sustainable cinema culture and develop audiences engagement with film.
NAAS supports its members through the year-long organization of regional encounters, trainings and initiatives for regional film circulation and research.
NAAS is currently the only initiative of its kind in the Arab region.
