Antoni Vives is a political consultant and analyst for cities and governments across the world, as well as senior advisor for the London School of Economics. During his mandate as Deputy Mayor of Urban Habitat for Barcelona City Council (2011-2015), Barcelona received numerous awards and was recognized as the number one smart city in the World by Juniper Research. He is an expert on Smart Cities and its capacity to improve lives of its inhabitants and has published numerous essays and novels around the subject, for which he won several awards.
