RDV #46: Discover the Armenian Cilicia Museum
On the occasion of the 102nd commemoration of the Armenian Genocide, Agenda Culturel and the Armenian Cilicia Museum invite you to attend to a tour of the museum guided by Miss Nare Saghdejian.
The museum's collection consists of chalices, reliquaries, crosses, incense holders, incense burners, a collection of gold and silver plates and bowls, and other religious objects, Khatchkars (memorial stone stele bearing a cross), embroideries, liturgical costumes… as well as manuscripts, books, carpets, paintings and sculptures of Pre and Post Genocide Armenian Artists.
The gospel of PartserPert (The high Fortress) is a masterpiece and one of the most important and unique objects of the museum's collection.
