The practice of Project Management is becoming critical to the success of many nonprofit organizations (NGOs). With reduced budgets and increased demands from donors and other stakeholders, NGOs need to incorporate the tools and practices of modern project management in order to achieve the expected results.
This session is an introductory lecture during which you will develop an understanding of the principles and terminology of project management within the context of the PMBOK provided by the Project Management Institute.

Trainer's Bio:
Walid Fenianos is a Project Manager at Global Assure-Finance and a partner of several of the company's affiliates.
His experience has given him a great understanding and a wide range of expertise in how to start-up businesses in the region. Walid graduated with two bachelor's degrees, the first in engineering and the second in banking & finance. Additionally, he holds several certifications in finance and project management. He is also the founder of KeyLearn, a program provider that offers universities and professional development institutions in the MENA region a variety of turnkey learning solutions in professional certifications, standardized testing, and skilled based training. Walid is also a board member of both the Project Management Institute LC and Rotary MG.
