A talk by Rami Mouallem
“M3alim” (1987) is a Lebanese Graffiti Artist Born in Fakiha, Lebanon.
The name “M3alim” was taken from the Artist’s last name “Mouallem” which originally means “Master” in Arabic: his full name is RAMI MOUALLEM.
He is well known for being one of the few Graffiti Artists that uses the Arabic Language in their artwork; M3alim started doing Graffiti in 2007 and he is still evolving in the Graffiti Community.
He is considered by people the most talented in that respect; however, he is not only famous for his Graffiti Art but “M3alim” has graduated from the Lebanese University with a Bachelor degree and a Masters degree in Architecture as well as being the winner of many Architecture and Graffiti Competitions.
Juggling two kinds of jobs is never easy, but this young Artist got his hands full with executing
“M3alim” opened his own Studio in Furn El Choubbak, Beirut, Lebanon in 2011 and started working from there. The place is filled with Graffiti walls and it has become the source of all his creativity, his sketches and the stash of all his spray paints along with awesome canvas paintings.
“I Dream, I Do” is an essential quote that the Artist live by everyday and believes that achieving his dreams is what keeps him motivated and keeps the Artist moving forward in the Art World.
