Who is Catharsis?

Catharsis is the first drama therapy center in Lebanon and the Arab region. it's a Non- Profit organization founded in 2007 operating under the registered drama therapist Zeina Daccache.

What is Drama Therapy?

Drama Therapy is the international use of drama and/ or theater processes to achieve therapeutic goals through active and experimental methods such as plays, stories, role play performances and other creative arts.

It creates new behaviors and new meanings for participants while setting for them a context to share their stories, express their feeling and solve problems by focusing on skill-building as well as emotional and physical integration.

What to Expect?

The TEA PARTY will host the guest speaker Mrs. Zeina Daccache who will emphasize on the impact of drama therapy in society while outlining past and upcoming projects and events dedicated to create behavioral change in the community through Catharsis's activities.

The TEA PARTY is inclusive of an afternoon buffet, giveaway gifts and a free ticket to watch the recent play of "Johar" on December 11, 2016 produced by Catharsis and performed by the inmates of Roumieh prison
