WICKERPARK IS A GRASSROOTS ALTERNATIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL ORIGINATING AND LOCATED IN THE TOWN OF BATROUN, LEBANON. STARTING FROM MODEST BEGINNINGS, WICKERPARK HAS SUCCEEDED IN BECOMING A MILESTONE IN THE INDEPENDENT FESTIVAL EXPERIENCE IN LEBANON. THE FESTIVAL HAS ACCOMMODATED IN ITS 5 YEARS OF EXISTENCE NO LESS THAN 70 BANDS, OVER 100 ARTISTS AND PERFORMERS, AND AN IMPRESSIVE 14,000 ATTENDEES.

The location of Wickerpark remains the most unique feature of the festival: it takes place in a massive field next to the founder's beach house in the coastal town of Batroun (55km North of Beirut).

Wickerpark plays an exceptional role in the dynamics of the alternative culture in modern-day Lebanon. Due to the ever-growing legitimacy of the festival, we feel a degree of responsibility in introducing new sounds within high production standards to our audience. The musical programming of the Festival combines today's burgeoning Lebanese talents with more established and experienced bands, and often features both local Lebanese artists and foreign guests in the space of one unique, full-blown day of festivities.

For many, Wickerpark is considered to be the most laid-back, accessible and rewarding live music experience in the country.

We, at Wickerpark, believe in our duty towards the environment and community, be they artistic, social or economical. We devote particular effort in reaching out to the social and artistic community‑via NGOs, independent initiatives by showcasing projects that revolve around sustainability, art and activism‑, and outdoor activities that are aligned with the philosophy of the Festival.

In addition to this, an off-festival program with a diverse line-up takes place throughout Wickerpark weekend, and offers festival-goers the opportunity to experience different facets of Batroun's locations and vibe.

Festivities are an essential part of wickerpark, reaching out to the social and artistic community through NGOs, independent initiatives (that will showcase projects revolving around sustainability, art and activism), and outdoor activities that go with the philosophy of the festival. In addition to all this, an off-festival program will be taking place throughout that weekend.

wickerpark has duties towards the environment and community, be they artistic, social or economical.

Camping area:
We've arranged for a free camping area for all ticket holders at O-glacée (5 minutes away from the Festival venue). O-glacée is also hosting many Off-Festival events. You can book your campign spot by calling 03 451740.

Transportation:
There will be buses linking Mar Mkhayel (Manar Station, Armenia street) to the Festival venue in Batroun. Departure time is 2PM on Saturday with many return trips scheduled. To book your spot and get all the information needed, please call 70 134188.
