Summary:
Anti-Money laundering (AML) and combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) Compliance is particularly a problematic and risk for developing countries and specifically financial institutions. This problematic is caused by Limited technological infrastructure, Institutions with constrained resources and the Lack of AML/CFT Compliance awareness. The purpose of this workshop is to present the essential procedures, rules and controls of AML & CFT Compliance. Moreover, it provides organizations and individuals with the tools needed to detect and report suspicious activities including the predicate offenses to money laundering and terrorist financing.
