RDV #36 : Guided tour of the exhibition ‘At the Seams: A Political History of Palestinian Embroidery’
Agenda Culturel is organizing a tour of the exhibition 'At the Seams: A Political History of Palestinian Embroidery' at Dar El-Nimer.
This exhibition is the first of the Palestinian Museum's satellite exhibitions outside the West Bank. It presents Palestinian embroidery in exciting new light: as a form of heritage-driven nationalism, militant resistance, nascent economic power and a constant, critical source of inspiration for contemporary artists and designers. The tour will be guided by the curator of the exhibition, Rachel Dedman, and her assistant Lama Mawla.
