Badael - Alternative Fundraising Methods for Social Impact Projects
Badael - Alternative Fundraising Methods for Social Impact Projects
3 hours interactive workshop
Are you part of a community project, a small enterprise, a socially-driven startup or just a creative person with lots of ideas? If you want to learn more about how to seek support for your idea and how to turn it into a sustainable project while having fun, this workshop is for you!
Badael is an interactive game designed to help social movements, social entrepreneurs, and people with innovative ideas learn about different funding mechanisms.
Throughout a 3-hour immersive simulation, you will:
Learn how to better define your idea and refine your pitch to appeal to funders, investors and supporters.
Get familiarized with the basics of reframing an idea to meet supporters' interests without losing its core values, principles and raison-d'être.
The game also discusses the gap between how innovative your idea actually is and how appealing it sounds to potential investors.
The whole process is gamified to keep it fun, interactive and engaging.
Come prepared to play along and have a good time!
We will be leading two separate sessions, first one from 10am to 1pm and the second from 2pm till 5pm. Please make sure to sign up for the one you prefer!
