The Resilience Center was created as a safe haven for the most vulnerable of children. They are able to live safely, go to school and receive psychosocial support within the walls of the center.

Child abuse is a pressing issue that has long been neglected, especially in Lebanese society where child labor, child prostitution and child marriage continue to exist.

himaya is a Lebanese Non-Governmental Organization dedicated to making child protection a right across the country. himaya aims to break the silence and offers children the life skills they need to defend themselves. In order to be as effective as possible, himaya works with children, their families, and surroundings as a whole.
