SAT Reading class
The Critical Reading part in the old SAT exam has been replaced in the new SAT by the SAT Reading Test.
Students will be given a variety of reading passages from different disciplines, History and Social Studies, LIterature , Founding Documents and Science. Some of the passages may be accompanied by graphics. Students have 65 minutes to read, analyze and answer questions on 5 passages with a total of 52 questions.
Reading critically and analyzing texts will remain the biggest stumbling block for most SAT takers.
During the SAT Reading Test class at Skillz students will become familiar with the different topics they will face in the Reading test during the official SAT exam. They will learn how best to approach the long passages, how to analyze the graphics and what type of questions to expect.
In a supportive, interactive setting the students and their teacher will go over the strategies needed to reach a high score. They will practice many passages and learn how to overcome any obstacle related to the passages.
Our SAT Reading Test teachers are all native English speakers with extensive knowledge of the new SAT exam.
The SAT Reading Test class has 5 sessions of 3 hours each.
