Global Entrepreneurship Week is a world event taking place in more than 140 countries all over the world meant to celebrate, recognize and boost creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

In Lebanon, GEW has been taking place since 2008, each year coordinated by a host organization (past hosts include Bader, MIT Enterprise Forum, AUB, Berytech, and RootSpace). It is led by a consortium of all entrepreneurship organizations in Lebanon, and all groups are invited to set up their own events to celebrate innovation and entrepreneurship in their own way.

As GEW-Lebanon 2015 country host, AltCity, a startup community and one of the leading entrepreneurship hubs in Lebanon, is coordinating the Lebanese startup ecosystem towards a successful 8th edition of GEW-Lebanon.

AltCity, in collaboration with Data and Investment Consult Lebanon (DIC) , will be hosting a press lunch at AltCity to promote GEW.
