Unreal Engine 4 Workshop
Unreal Engine 4 Workshop
In our ongoing series of Unreal Engine 4 workshops, we are excited to announce our map design workshop.
This workshop will center on the aesthetics of levels. We will focus on lights, materials, post process effects, environmental effects, landscapes and foliage. In the process we will be creating our own forest level, complete with mountains, a small cottage, a pathway and a riverbend. We will stylize our cottage with custom meshes and materials, and tweak the lights and the post process effects to get that rustic feel just right.
By the end of the workshop people attending should have gained a solid grasp of the principles required to stylize and populate a level and moving forward should be able to create and tweak their own levels from scratch.
It’s going to be a long night, so dress comfortably and bring your grit with you because we ain’t leaving before we have that level exactly the way we want it.
Workshop is geared towards designers, architects and developers alike. Absolutely no programing skill required.
