About
Understanding public policy is absolutely essential for anyone who wants to be politically aware. This course will give you tools to understand government decisions and to be critical about them. Each session will cover some theory (definition of key concepts, tools and frameworks) and some practical examples. Discussion is encouraged at all times.
Attendees will receive a packet of notes detailing each session at the beginning of the course to facilitate learning.
All reading material will be optional. The only commitment that is expected from you is to attend the sessions and be fully present.

Who can sign up?
Anyone who speaks Arabic fluently and knows basic English (all technical terms will be defined).
You don't need to have any background in policy or economics or education or health or the environment.
Solidarity Fees
- Free for Dammeh Members
- $40 for Students (if you can't pay that much, let me know)
- $80 for the rest (if you can't pay that much, let me know)
This module is part of a series of knowledge sharing initiatives carried out by members of the Dammeh, a women’s cooperative.
