The fields of our projects are social entrepreneurship, online technology & engineering, food service, capacity building and job placement.
shareQ launched 4 main departments: LEAP, BLESS ,M Social Catering and Healthy Food for children in collaboration with different funding institutions such as UNDP, UNHCR, Premiere Urgence Aide Medicale Internationale, Mercy Corps and the US Embassy.
Overview:
1.Lebanon Employment Assistance Program (LEAP): In which we support, recruit, train and employ young women with social and financial challenges so they can have decent jobs and provide better lives for them and their families. The program aims to integrate the youth into the job field by training and finding them employment in different job sectors such as practical nurse, kitchen crew, customer service, secretarial work and the food & beverage fields. Previous successful versions of this program were funded by the UN, Injaz, Mercy Corps and the US embassy. Since 2012, shareQ has trained 120 women and youth across Lebanon and 64 of them have integrated in jobs.
2.Blue Labor Employment Support System (BLESS) Online Platform and Mobile App: To complement ShareQ's job integration program, in 2017 shareQ team aims to launch an online platform dedicated to connecting blue-collar workers, trained by credible NGOs in various technical skills, to potential employers in an efficient way. The online platform will act as a support and networking tool, allowing partner NGOs to upload graduates' profiles online, search for suitable roles and share experiences with one another. Simultaneously, the mobile application will allow uploaded graduates to communicate with the NGO and potential employers to arrange interviews, feedback and any relevant contracts. The workers will simply need an account on their cell phones since most of them do not have computers. The HR departments in companies will in turn have an online web platform in order to search, screen, recruit, and connect with registered potential employees. In addition to the facilitation of employment and the online platform, ShareQ's team will act as intermediaries to educate employers, and employees, regarding marketplace developments and trends, thereby facilitating the employment process.

4.Healthy Food for Children program: As we saw the large problem of children suffering from malnutrition, we decided to create a program where the trained women in STEP, supervised by a professional chef and a dietitian, cook healthy meals for children suffering from malnutrition. One version of this program was funded by Mercy Corps, where we were able to cook 45,000 healthy meals that were distributed to 2,000 children and youth with social and financial challenges across Lebanon.
