Fair Trade Lebanon
Fair Trade Lebanon (FTL) is an NGO created in 2006 in order to support Lebanese farmers in remote areas. It all started in 2004, when FTL founders decided to do something about the disastrous living conditions in many remote villages of Lebanon. FTL decided to work hand in hand with farmers, local civil organizations and other NGOs to establish networks of support and production.
FTL supports small cooperatives and seeks new markets for their products. FTL offers a variety of quality products selected with care, according to international fair trade standards.
FTL has been a member of the World Fair Trade Organization since September 2010.
