"Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30. Rotaract [Aley club is] community based, and [it is] sponsored by a local Rotary club. This makes them true "partners in service" and key members of the family of Rotary." How does it work? "All Rotaract efforts begin at the local, grassroots level, with members addressing their communities physical and social needs while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service."

Rotaract operates through five different avenues:

1- Community Development, reemphasizing Rotaract's mission of supporting the community.

2- Professional Development, in line with the club's purpose of developing members' and guests' professional skills and networking.

3- Fundraising, solely for the purpose of a pre-defined community development cause.

4- International Understanding, in order to get to know and understand different cultures, as well as to link with Rotaractors from all over the world.

5- Club Service, which aims at strengthening the friendly relationship between members, guests and friends of the club.
